At FFC we believe the Bible is God’s Word to us. The Bible is important because it tells us how men became estranged from God, but also how God put in motion His perfect plan to rebuild our relationship with Him.

 

God sent His Son Jesus into the world through the virgin birth, so that Jesus could be the means through which we return to God. Jesus lived a sinless life and was crucified on a cross for the sins of the world. God did for us what we could never do for ourselves.

 

After Jesus was crucified, He also rose from the dead and ascended back to heaven. His going to heaven opened the door for the Holy Spirit to come and help us in our walk with God today. The Holy Spirit is the constant companion of every believer. The Holy Spirit also comes in a special relationship to empower and equip us to live for God by imparting special gifts.

 

The Bible wraps up with the exciting story of Jesus Christ returning to earth for those who believe in Him in order that we might spend eternity in Heaven, where He intended for us to be all along.
